Visit to the BT Young Scientist Exhibition in the RDS

During the week gone by I visited the BT Young Scientist Exhibition in the RDS.

Now a national institution, it is always an informative and exciting trip, where you really do meet the researchers, inventors, innovators and leaders of the future. I share some more of my thoughts in this video:

I caught up with Meath West entrants to see their work first hand, including three projects from Eureka College Kells, one from St. Joseph’s Secondary School and one from Coláiste Na Mí. Primary schools from Hill of Down, Ashbourne and Delvin also exhibited. It was also good to catch up with the Madden sisters from Summerhill, previous Young Scientists who now have a business of their own called Fenuhealth as a result of their research!
